Brian is a hands-on IT leader with experience as a CIO, CTO, & Chief Architect. As a geek by nature, he is never too far from source code. He continues to create innovative new apps & teach developers about next generation technology, while leading dynamic it teams throughout the world.

Brian’s passions are innovation, agility, architecture, and the transformation of industries through dynamic applications. These passions have driven him to maintain expertise in Azure (Cloud), Silverlight, WPF, Mobile Development, Agile Software Development, Scrum, & Application Architecture.

In early 2010, Brian was appointed to the Chief Architect & Chief Innovator roles with HyperVize (www.hypervize.com), an innovation management, and application development consulting firm that serves VCs, Startups, SMBs, and government entities.

Brian is also the founder and chairman of MATA Tech (www.matatech.org), a non-profit aimed at growing entrepreneurship and training technicians throughout the Saint Louis area. As a part of his commitment to MATA tech, he founded and runs the STL Innovation Camp (www.stlinnovationcamp.com) and the soon to be released bio-tech innovation camp both exist to help teach members of the Saint Louis community to be more innovative and help them drive their businesses to higher profits. As well as the Innovator’s Cup program which leverages the vision of entrepreneurs to give developers an opportunity to gain hands on experience in valuable new technologies. In his spare time, Brian is a serial entrepreneur having started more than a dozen companies with a successful exit from 70% of them.
